Broadcast Journalism

These are a few of the works I created using Adobe Premiere Pro. Graduating with a Bachelor's in journalism, it was required for us to create mainly PKGs, VOSOTs, VOs, and RDRs. I got to learn more about how to interview people, edit, and investigate to create great stories.

Video Reel

In this video reel, it is combined of my five stand-ups and three PKGs that I have created. It highlights my PKGs from hard PKGs and events occurring at the University of Memphis.

Robbery PKG

In this PKG, I cover a victim's story of being robbed and held at gunpoint. She goes in-depth into what happened and what she is doing to heal from the traumatic event. She talks about what the University of Memphis can do to ensure that students can feel safer.

Student Government Association PKG

I cover the University of Memphis's Student Government Association's recent bills that they've passed since the party Empower was elected in the Spring of 2022. I asked them what have they done to benefit students at the University of Memphis.

Multicultural Affairs PKG

In this Pkg, I covered the Multicultural Affairs office on how their way to fund for organizations has changed since the 2021-2022 school year. We hear from the Hispanic Student Association's President and from the Multicultural Affairs' Assistant Director.

Plant Day Sale VOSOT

The Botany Club had sold plants to raise money for their club funds. They told us the purpose and celebrated right in time for Valentine's Day for the plants to find a new home. It is the perfect gift for a loved one.

LTA VOSOT

In this VOSOT, I cover what Lamda Theta Alpha means and why is it a sorority worth joining. I interviewed a student that was in the sorority. She explains why it was important for her to join, and how it helped her grow as a person as well.
